Tour Through Coyoacán

Once an important Indigenous settlement, Coyoacán later became the headquarters of Hernán Cortés following the Spanish conquest of Mexico.
 

Coyoacán is home to centuries-old plazas, churches, and iconic artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Along the way, we got to sample flavors in local street markets. This tour was a real highlight for us in 2025. 

Museo Frida Kahlo

We love FRIDA! We recommend to to watch Frida the biopic starring Salma Hayek, before going. This museum does not host much of her art, but is more of a tour that was inhabited by Frida and her family. This museum shows a collection of her clothing, including the dress worn by her on the cover of Vogue. Buy tickets early, as this is a popular spot and tends to sell out. Purchase Tickets Here

PALACIO DE BELLAS ARTES

Mexico City's most iconic landmarks. Stunning architecture and HUGE Diego Rivera murals inside. Highly recommended if you are in the Centro area.
